Artist Pages are a way for WGNS Members to post their work and contact information on the website so that Fine Art of Fiber customers and others can find or discover you. The Guild will not be involved in sales of your items. Customers will contact you separately. This is strictly a service for WGNS Members. Interested? Photos that represent work you want to sell. These do not have to be things currently in your inventory. Do your best with these guidelines:
- JPG format
- 1280 pixels in the longer dimension
- Maximum quality compression
- One item (or 2-3 of variations on the same item) per photo
- Limit 6 photos, photos may have titles but not extensive descriptions
Brief descriptive text about you, your work, your willingness to accept commissions, etc.
Your contact information, including website if you have one.

Photo-editing Guidance:
On Apple Computers:
Open your photo in Preview program/app. Go to Tools -> Adjust Size.
Set Width at 1280 pixels (not inches). Make sure the little lock icon is locked. Width will automatically adjust.
If you opened the photo from your Photos program/app, it will automatically be saved in the new size. You can also choose to File -> Export (choose JPEG format) to a location of your choice.
On PC Computers:
Open your photo in Photos program/app. Go to the 3 dots in upper right corner and choose Resize.
Choose C: Define custom dimensions.
Set Width at 1280 pixels. Be sure “Maintain aspect ratio” is checked. Width will adjust.
Click “Save Resized Copy” as type JPEG in a location of your choice.
