FREE TO A GOOD HOME: Disassembled Kentish floor loom

Disassembled Kentish floor loom that has been in storage for many years. The loom is in Elmhurst and may be missing a part or two. When assembled it is about 5 feet square. I am happy to give it to someone who might be able to put it working order.

Wanted: Donated Weaving Equipment

Neumann Family Services is a Chicago-based nonprofit organization that serves people with developmental disabilities and mental illness. NFS provides supportive housing, employment services, enrichment programs, and clinical and case management services to more than 300 individuals a year. We are establishing a weaving program for our clients and community members and are in need of the following equipment:

looms/loom benches
shuttles and bobbins
reed hooks
warping boards and mills
bobbin winders
yarn
fabric cutters
sewing machines

We can pick up donations within a 150-mile radius of Chicago or you can drop off your donation at NFS (5547 N Ravenswood Ave, Chicago) weekdays from 9am to 5pm. Monetary donations are also appreciated. $20 will purchase 4 reed hooks, 3 stick shuttles or a cone of 8/2 cotton yarn. Go to our website for information on how to make a monetary donation.
